You can not give blood, plasma or platelets if you are pregnant.

If your pregnancy lasted for more than 12 weeks then please wait until 6 months have passed from the end of your pregnancy before donating.

If you had a blood transfusion during your pregnancy or at delivery then you cannot donate blood, plasma or platelets.

If your pregnancy lasted less than 12 weeks you may be able to donate - please call us on 0300 123 23 23 for advice.
